Field Renovation Project Complete
After some very long, cold and wet days, the field renovation project has been completed. Click HERE for the photo gallery showing the progress.  As mentioned in the last booster meeting, we chose to go with the MuleMix 816 field conditioner to provide a more consistent, easier to maintain playing surface. This stuff is amazing in how it absorbs moisture from the field and it should provide an excellent playing surface. Those involved in this project included: Kevin McIntyre, Rick Tippin, Tony Ciallella, Kevin Harper, Todd Morris, Richard Sawyer, Donnie Brown and J.D. Sohl.

2008 Lady Flash Junior Varsity Team

While You Were Gone:    
     This past Summer, several Freshmen and Middle School players traveled on a competitive 14U team, representing Lone Oak Softball.  This team definitely improved as the competition around them got tougher.
     A couple of the accomplishments this team collected over the Summer include a runner-up (thanks to a 1-run loss to a veteran travel team and a coin-flip finish) at the "Little Lady Colonel Classic" tournament in Hopkinsville KY, and being crowed as the UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS of the "Worth Classic" USSSA State / World qualifier tournament held at Ft. Knox, KY. Several players took home all tournament team recognition, including Tiffany Brown who took home the tournament MVP award.
